Office Hysteroscopy Workshop

Hands-On Training in Office Hysteroscopy Techniques for Outpatient Gynecology

This workshop is designed for residents and specialists in gynecology who want to adopt or refine their office hysteroscopy skills. Combining theoretical instruction with simulator-based practice, this course focuses on developing techniques essential for outpatient gynecological care.

The workshop presenters are Sandra Halldórsdóttir, MD, OB/GYN department, Landspitali University Hospital, Reykjavik Iceland and Anna Kraen, MD, OB/GYN department, Malmö University Hospital, Sweden

Hands-On Training in Robotic Assisted surgery for surgeons interested in robotics

This workshop is made for residents and specialists in gynecology who have not yet become a console surgeon themselves, but who are interested in or has started the journey of becoming a console surgeon. Through a combination of theory through a presentation from experienced robotic surgeons together with hands-on training on the da Vinci system and the simulator, you will get a better understanding of the value of da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery and allow yourself to take the next step into becoming a console surgeon yourself.

The session will be led by Dr. Ulrika Johannesson from Danderyds Hospital, Sweden. Intuitive Surgical will support the course with resources and technical trainers to help participants maximize their learning experience.

Theoretical session in Robotic Assisted surgery for experienced console surgeons

This workshop is made for specialists in gynecology who have 1+ years of experience with da Vinci in different procedures and who want to develop themselves further. Through an interactive session, we will walk through anatomy and diagnoses, how to tackle situations and the best surgical treatments. For this course, you may prepare with complex cases yourself and be part of a roundtable discussion with other experienced surgeons in how to best treat your patients.

The session will be led by Dr. Gaby Moawad from CEAPS, Washington, United States, alongside a team of experienced robotic surgeons. Intuitive Surgical will support the course with resources and insights to help participants maximize their learning experience.
